Most of these violins were brought intothe statesby the Carl Fischer Music Company. Carl Fisher (1849-1923), who was himself a violinist, started his music store as an instrument repair shop in the East Village neighborhood of New York City. The shop suppliedmusicianswith European instruments and sheet music. After WWII the company slowly started to focus primarily on the sale of sheet music.
The violin has a direct and clear sound. It has focused sweetness to the tone and plays very easily. There is moderate signs of use, however it is in good condition andhas been fully restored and set up in our shop by our head luthier, Andrs M. Bilva.
Sale is for Instrument only.
Even though this is not a Fiddlerman or Holstein line instrument, this violin is still backed by our standard warranty and return policy.
