This violin is labeled “Jean-Baptiste Vuillaume” but we have our doubts about the authenticity. It does appear to be very old! The violin was in need of many repairs including some cracks in the top, as well as needing a new fingerboard, nut, pegs, bridge, and sound post. With a fantastic setup thanks to Andrs, our master luthier, this instrument is ready for a new home. The sound is quite good, somewhat tame under the ear but projects well with a warm tone.
